FULL DISCLOSURE "BEST SHORT FILM" AT SEDONA (2/26/06)     Full Disclosure was selected by audiences of the 2006 Sedona International Film Festival for the Best Short Film Audience Award.  The festival, now in it's twelfth year, was held February 23rd-26th in scenic Sedona, Arizona.

Following Sedona, Full Disclosure now prepares for upcoming festival screenings at Cinequest March 1-12, 2006, Delray Beach Film Festival March 8-12, 2006, Omaha Film Festival March 24-26, 2006, Florida Film Festival March 24-April 2, 2006, and Nashville Film Festival April 20-26, 2006.  Information on screenings is available at the Full Disclosure website.

FULL DISCLOSURE PREMIERES AT PALM SPRINGS (9/20/05)     The 2005 Palm Springs Int'l Festival of Short Films will premiere Full Disclosure as an official selection in the festival. The prestigeous Palm Springs festival is the largest short film festival in North America and one of the most important short film markets in the world.  The festival is accredited by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.  Winning short films qualify for Oscar consideration.

Full Disclosure finished its 35mm film print the day before the festival opening.  Postproduction was undertaken by Alpha Cine Labs, Bad Animals Seattle, Andy Pratt Negative Cutting, and NT Audio.

CAMERAS ROLL ON FULL DISCLOSURE (5/7/05)     Horn of the Moon Productions' latest film, Full Disclosure begins production today in Seattle, WA.  The film is written and directed by Douglas Horn and stars Judy Greer and Brent Sexton.  Susan LaSalle, Jannat Gargi, and Valerie McCaffrey are producing.  Other key crew include director of photography, Chris Bell, UPM Amy Jacobson, assistant director Dan Dusek, and production designer Merlin Armstrong.

TRAILER: THE MOVIE! A BUDWEISER AWARD NOMINEE (4/1/05)     Writer-Director Douglas Horn has been selected as one of 12 nominees for the 2005 Budweiser Filmmaker Discovery Award for his film Trailer: The Movie!.  The selection was announced in the May 2005 issue of Vanity Fair magazine.  The nominees will be flown to the 2005 Tribeca Film Festival for the Awards Presentation.  The twelve nominees will be judged by Sean Penn, Bryan Singer, Helen Hunt, Jay Roach, and Snoop Dogg to select the winner.  Sponsors of the Budweiser Filmmaker Discover Award include Annheiser-Busch, Vanity Fair, Panasonic, and Kevin Spacey's TriggerStreet.com.

FULL DISCLOSURE IFP SPOTLIGHT AWARD FINALIST (6/17/04)    IFP/Seattle has named Douglas Horn's short film script "Full Disclosure" as one of five finalist for its annual Spotlight Award. The IFP Spotlight Award is a grant of products and services valued at over $100,000. The purpose of the grant is to select high quality short film projects to be produced in the Pacific Northwest.

BROKEN WORLD PREMIERE SET (1/20/04)     The 2004 Florida Film Festival will present the world premiere of writer/director Paco Farias' short film comedy, Broken. The film was produced by the Horn of the Moon production team of Paco Farias, Melissa Guzman, and Douglas Horn. The Florida Film Festival runs from March 5th - 14th, 2004 at the Enzian Theatre in Maitland, FL and other Orlando-area venues. Please check the festival's web site for screening times.

TRAILER: THE MOVIE! ACQUIRED BY DISTRIBUTOR (10/10/03)     Premium Films of France is now the distributor of Horn of the Moon Productions's comedic short film, Trailer: The Movie!.  Trailer: The Movie! played at over twenty film festivals and has accumulated several honors along the way.  Premium Films intends to market the film to television networks and home video outlets worldwide.

BROKEN WRAPS PRODUCTION (7/10/03)     Writer/Director Paco Farias wrapped production today on principal photography of his short film comedy, Broken.  The film tells the irreverent dating nightmare of a man who breaks his penis.  The film stars Margi Simmons and Michael Manuel and was shot using the Sony F-900 CineAlta HD camera.  It was produced by the Horn of the Moon production team of Paco Farias, Melissa Guzman, and Douglas Horn, with Clay Westervelt returning as Director of Photography.    .

BACK UP, PLEASE COMPLETE (2/15/03)     Horn of the Moon Productions LLC's latest release, Back Up, Please, completed postproduction today in Seattle, WA.  Principal photography took place in August 2002 in Woodland Hills, CA. Thereafter, post-production was carried out in Los Angeles, CA and Seattle, WA. Post-production completed today when Alpha Cine Labs, finished the 24p HD-to-35mm film digital transfer under the supervision of Bruno George.

TRAILER: THE MOVIE! REACHES 20 (11/8/02)     With it's presentation today as an official selection at the Northampton Film Festival, Trailer: The Movie! has now played in twenty film festivals. Horn of the Moon Productions is pleased with this accomplishment and wishes to express its thanks to all the film festivals and audiences that helped it reach this milestone.
